Sharp MFD’s have been developed to reduce power levels throughout the copying process. Sharp’s complete range of MFD’s are Star Energy compliant. Sharp is continually investing in its Research, Development and Core Technologies to create environmentally conscious products. In particular Sharp has focussed on reducing power consumption over its range of MFD’s. Currently Sharp products offer a high-energy efficiency, e.g. less than 1W in sleep mode. New technologies in reducing toner consumption, long life photoconductors and a range of other features designed to save energy show the progress Sharp has made to minimise the effects of its products on the environment.

Sharp UK Limited is a member of Repic Limited which is the largest compliance scheme in the UK for household and business to business equipment.

Sharp are registered with Valpak under the Distributor Take-Back Scheme (DTS). Therefore all old machines are returned and all possible recycling undertaken under the WEEE registered conditions.

Datasharp is an environmentally friendly company as we use local contractors to dispose of all electrical waste and all paper products supplied carry the FSC logo stating that they are produced from a sustainable source.
